Working groups to monitor the implementation of NRs

STRAB/MTP Ordinances No. 2.094 and STRAB/MTP No. 2.095 were published on July 27, in the Federal Official Gazette of Brazil, by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Secretariat of Labor, establishing the Tripartite Working Groups, which will monitor the implementation of some regulatory standards (NRs), within the Permanent Tripartite Parity Commission.

The STRAB/MTP Ordinance No. 2.094 establishes the Working Group to monitor the implementation of NR01 (General Provisions and Management of Occupational Risks), NR04 (Specialized Services in Occupational Health and Safety), NR05 (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), NR07 (Occupational Health Program), NR09 (Evaluation and Control of Occupational Exposures to Physical, Chemical and Biological Agents) and NR17 (Ergonomics). This group will be called Tripartite Working Group of the General NRs.

The STRAB/MTP Ordinance No. 2095 establishes the Working Group to monitor the implementation of NR18, which addresses the health and safety conditions in the construction industry.

Also on July 27, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Secretary of Labor published STRAB/MTP Ordinance No. 2.096, defining the Tripartite Working Group that will be dedicated to drafting the new Regulatory Standard on Urban Cleaning.

The three ordinances take effect on the date of their publication.
