In activities or operations where workers may be exposed to ionizing radiation, the tolerance limits, principles, obligations, and basic controls for the protection of humans and their environment against possible adverse effects caused by ionizing radiation are those specified in CNEN-NN-3.0: Basic Guidelines for Radiological Protection, from March 2014, approved by CNEN Resolution No. 164/2014, or any that may replace it.
