CLASS 1 – EXPLOSIVES
DIVISIONDESCRIPTION OF SUBSTANCE OR ARTICLE
1.1Substances or products that present a mass explosion hazard.
1.2Substances or products that present a projection hazard but do not present a mass explosion hazard.
1.3Substances or products that present a fire hazard and a minor blast or projection hazard or both, but do not present a mass explosion hazard.
1.4Substances and products that do not present a significant hazard.
1.5Very insensitive substances and products that present a mass explosion hazard.
1.6Extremely insensitive substances and products that do not present a mass explosion hazard.
CLASS 2 – COMPRESSED, LIQUEFIED, OR DISSOLVED GASES UNDER PRESSURE

2.1Flammable gases.
2.2Non-flammable, non-toxic gases.
2.3Toxic gases.
CLASS 3 – FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS
DIVISIONDESCRIPTION OF SUBSTANCE OR ARTICLE
Flammable liquids: liquids with a flash point ≤ 60°C (sixty degrees Celsius).
Liquids with a flash point above 60°C (sixty degrees Celsius) when heated and transferred at temperatures equal to or higher than their flash point, are considered flammable liquids.
CLASS 4 – FLAMMABLE SOLIDS, SUBSTANCES LIABLE TO SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION, SUBSTANCES THAT IN CONTACT WITH WATER EMIT FLAMMABLE GASES.
