b) Calculation of the fresh air flow based on explosive consumption: QT = 0.5 x A x V / t where: QT = total fresh air flow in m³/min A = total amount in kilograms of explosives used per detonation V = gas volume generated per kilogram of explosive in m³/kg t = ventilation (reentry) time of the front in minutes |
c) Calculation of the fresh air flow based on the monthly tonnage dismantled: QT = q x T where: QT = total fresh air flow in m³/min A = total amount in kilograms of explosives used per detonation q = air flow in m³/min for 1,000 tons dismantled per month (minimum of 190 m³/min/1,000 tons/month) T = production in tons dismantled per month |
