a) Introduction Course on Flammables and Combustibles

Duration: 3 hours

  1. Flammables: characteristics, properties, dangers, and risks;
  2. Collective and individual controls for working with flammables;
  3. Sources of ignition and their control;
  4. Basic procedures in emergency situations involving flammables.

b) Basic Course

I) Theoretical Program Content:

  1. Flammables: characteristics, properties, dangers, and risks;
  2. Collective and individual controls for working with flammables;
  3. Sources of ignition and their control;
  4. Fire protection with flammables;
  5. Basic procedures in emergency situations involving flammables.

II) Practical Program Content:

  1. Knowledge and use of fire safety systems for flammables.

c) Intermediate Course

I) Theoretical Program Content:

  1. Flammables: characteristics, properties, dangers, and risks;
  2. Collective and individual controls for working with flammables;
  3. Sources of ignition and their control;
  4. Fire protection with flammables;
  5. Procedures in emergency situations involving flammables;
  6. Study of NR-20;
  7. Preliminary Hazard/Risk Analysis: concepts and practical exercises;
  8. Permit to Work with Flammables.

II) Practical Program Content:

  1. Knowledge and use of fire safety systems for flammables.

d) Advanced Course I

I) Theoretical Program Content:

  1. Flammables: characteristics, properties, dangers, and risks;
